Staff Selection Commission conducts various examinations to recruit eligible and deserving aspirants for the various vacant posts. Now, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will soon release the SSC CHSL 2020 – 21 Notification on its official website. Aspirants who are waiting for the same will able to fill the SSC CHSL Online Form. The Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination is conducted by the commission to recruit individuals for the post of Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC), Data Entry Operator (DEO), Court Clerk and Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants (PA/SA).

The Commission has stated some eligibility terms for the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination, that means only those individuals will be allowed to fill the application form who successfully satisfied the eligibility conditions. SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must be either

(a) a citizen of India
(b) a subject of Nepal
(c) a subject of Bhutan
(d) a Tibetan refugee

Qualification Required For SSC CHSL

For LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG) –

Candidates going to apply for the LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG) post must have passed their 10+2 from the recognized board.

Data Entry Operator (DEO) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG) –

Candidates passed their 10+2 from the recognized board are eligible to apply, it must be noted that candidates should pass their 12th in Science stream with Mathematics

Age Limit For SSC CHSL

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has stated the age limit for the Secondary Level Examination (SSC CHSL); applying candidates must have Age as on 01-08-2019

  • Minimum Age- 18 years
  • Maximum Age-27 years

Whereas the Staff Selection Commission has provided the relaxation in Upper age limit as follows-

SSC CHSL Selection Procedure

The selection procedure of the Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (SSC CHSL) includes the three stages that are

Tier 1- Online (CBT)

Tier 2- Offline (Descriptive paper)

Tier 3- Skill Based Test (Typing Test)

Those candidates who will qualify the Tier 1- Online (CBT) will become eligible for the Tier 2- Offline (Descriptive paper) and the candidates who will qualify the Tier 3- Skill Based Test (Typing Test) will be eligible for the final round that is Tier 3- Skill Based Test (Typing Test).

SSC CHSL Application Fee

In order to fill the SSC CHSL Application Form 2020-21 candidates have to pay an online application fee of Rs 100/-(one hundred only)

Candidates can pay the SSC CHSL Application Fee through-

  • BHIM UPI
  • Net Banking
  • Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or
  • SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan

Women candidates and Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) are exempted to pay the application fee.

Note: It may be noted that of any of the SSC CHSL Application received without application free will not be considered and commission will reject the application. And the fees once paid shall not be refunded nor be adjusted against any other examination or selection.

Procedure To Fill SSC CHSL Online Form

The SSC CHSL procedure to fill the application form consists of two parts that are

  1. One-time Registration
  2. Filling online Application for the Examination

Those candidates who want to fill the application form can follow the below provided steps and fill the application form easily-

Prior to fill the application form candidates are suggested to keep ready below stated documents-

  • Mobile Number (to be verified through OTP)
  • Email ID (to be verified through OTP)
  • Aadhaar Number
  • Educational Documents
  • Scanned passport size recent photograph (20 KB to 50 KB) and signature (10 to 20 KB)
  • Disability Certificate Number for Physical candidates

One-time Registration

First and the foremost step is to open the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) that is ssc.nic.in

After going to the home page press the “Register Now” link from the right section of the page.

Information Required To Fill The One-time Registration Form:

  • Basic Details
  • Additional Details and Contact Details
  • Uploading of the scanned images of passport size photograph and signature

Steps To Fill One-time Registration Form:

Candidates have provide the required details e.g. Aadhaar Number, name, father’s name, mother’s name,  date  of  birth, etc these are the essential information and will be asked twice to avoid mistakes and for verification. Fill the Matriculation (10thClass) Examination Detail carefully and must assure to provided name of your father, mother exactly as given in Matriculation (10thClass) Certificate.

After filling all the required details saved it and then you will require to confirm your mobile number and email ID.

Confirm your mobile number and email ID. As per the rules, your Registration Number will be displayed on the screen commission will also send the Registration Number and password on the registered mobile number and Email ID.

Candidates are suggested to change their password by to login again using your Registration Number.

It may be noted that applicants have to complete their Registration Process within 14 days, all the details will be erased if, candidates fails to complete Registration Process on time. 

Filling online Application for the Examination

  • First and the foremost step is to login to account with the help of Registration Number and password
  • Now go to the “LATEST Notification” section and press the Apply‟ link “Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination”.
  • As soon as you login to your account complete details will be automatically filled.
  • In the next step applicants have to select Examination Centers preferences.
  • Fill all the required information step by step and must assure to provide correct and true information.
  • After that pay the application fee as per the rules of commission
  • At last complete your declaration by clicking on “I agree” check box, fill up captcha code
  • Finally submit the form and print a copy of the filled application from for future use.

SSC CHSL Admit Card

After the successful completion of Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination application procedure, the commission will issue the SSC CHSL Admit Card. The admit card will be available via online mode. Candidates will issue the SSC CHSL call letter 2020-21 from the regional website of Staff Selection Commission by providing required details.

SSC CHSL Result
