SSC Selection Post Phase 8-Selection Procedure
The government has changed the rules for the SSC Junior Level Posts. Now there will no Interview round for such posts. So to get a selected for the SSC Selection Post Phase 8, candidates only require to clear the examination (Computer Based Exam) having Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions. Candidates have to score the marks above the minimum qualifying or cut-off marks. Aspirants score less than cut-off marks will not be entertained for the next phase of recruitment. Cut Off- UR: 35% OBC/ EWS : 30% Other categories : 25%.
To fill SSC Phase VIII, Online Form aspirants have to pay the application fee of-
Candidates belong to Male (General/ OBC/EWS) category are required to pay the application fee of Rs. 100/-(Rupees One Hundred only). Candidates belong to Female (All Category), and SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/ PWD category are exempted from paying the application fee.
Mode To Pay Application Fee
Candidates can pay the application fees by two methods that are Online and Offline
Online Fee Method- Aspirants can pay the fee by using the BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Credit, Debit, RuPay, Mastercard etc.
Offline Fee Method- Aspirants can pay the off-line application fee simply in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
Documents Require To Fill the SSC Selection Post Phase 8 Application Form

Aadhaar Number, if any of the aspirants do not have the Aadhaar card, then he can also provide the Numbers of following Identity Card-

Candidates having any Disability have to show their Disability Certificate Number while filling the form.
Steps To Fill The SSC Selection Post Phase 8 Application Form 2020
The form will be filled in two parts that are-
- Part-I (One-time Registration)
- Part-II (Online Application Form)
Part-I (One-time Registration)
Step 1: For One-Time Registration, candidates have to visit the official portal of the SSC that is ssc.nic.in
Step 2: Now press the “Register Now” link.
Step 3: The new page will be opened on your screen. Now you will ask to provide the Basic Details like Yours’s name, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, Aadhaar Number, etc.
Step 4: After filling such details, you will ask to provide the Additional Details and Contact Details provide all the required details carefully without any mistakes.
Step 5: After filling all the details check it carefully and proceed for the next step that is Uploading of the scanned images of passport size photograph and signature
Step 6: Upload the photograph and signature in the prescribed format and size. It may be noted that the blurred documents will not be accepted.
Step 7: Now save the provided information and print a copy of the same.
Step 8: Now, the commission will send the OTPs to the register mail address, and the mobile number candidates have to verify the same.
Step 9: Finally, check out the Declaration carefully and press the “I agree” of you are agree.
Step 10: Congratulations! Yours One-time Registration process is completed, it may be noted that if candidates fail to complete the registration process within 14 days then the filled information (data) will be erased and candidates have to fill the form again.
- The Registration number and the password will be appear at your screen, in addition Registration number and the password will also sent to candidates email Id And mobile number.
- Candidates are requested to change their password for the security reason.
Note: Aspirants will be permitted to change the Basic Details if required, but candidates can change the basic details only twice.
Part-II (Online Application Form)
Step 1: Firstly, log in with the help of your Registration number and the password issued at the time of the One-time Registration process.
Step 2: Press the “Advertisement No: Phase-VIII/2020/Selection Posts” from the “LATEST Notification” section and also press apply online link.
Step 3: Your form will be opened at your screen, and all the details filled during the One-time Registration will be auto-filled.

SSC Selection Post VIII Exam Pattern And Syllabus
There SSC Selection Post VIII will have four subjects that are General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill), and English Language (Basic Knowledge). There will be 100 questions and the total number of marks are 200 Marks. Total time duration for the examination will be 01 Hours (60 Minutes) and 0.50 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
